This special request cake was definitely a challenge.
All organic chocolate cake with butter cream decorated in a Disney Cars theme is what my client wanted.
After a lot of research on the internet, and searching different stores for all the ingredients needed, i was able to pull it all together and i think it came together beautifully. The only thing we couldn't pull off was organic fondant. The checkers on the side of the cake are not organic, but were pulled off before their son ate his share.
I made the flags and road signs with lolly-pop sticks and some creativity :)
One wedding cake and 200 cupcakes for my cousin's wedding.
So glad they made the 100km trip!
I didn't want to take the chance so everything was assembled at the reception venue. This included piping the 200 cupcakes with the butter cream swirl! My hand hurt after only 50 but at the end of the day, got them all done.
